Water for All: Mukti’s Endeavour in Sahara and Sunia Villages
Mukti has taken the initiative to address the drinking water issues faced by the local communities in Sahara and Sunia villages, under Sahara Gram Panchayat of Purba Medinipur district. The installation process of two submersible pump sets, accompanied by water taps, commenced on May 26th, 2023. The project aims to alleviate the hardships faced by the common people in accessing clean drinking water. The work is estimated to be completed within a span of 15 days. In order to ensure an adequate supply, two tanks, each capable of holding 1000 liters of water, will also be installed. This undertaking will not only benefit approximately 50 families residing in the vicinity but also cater to the needs of passers-by.
