After the counseling session, 20 candidates are selected for the vocational training on electronics. Their training already started on 22nd October 2012, Friday at Uttar Kankandighi Mukti Support School (MSS). It’s a 3 months course. Under the “Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development (PBSSD)”, an Initiative by the Department of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, Government of West Bengal, Nagendrapur Ramkrishna Mission is supporting Mukti to train the unemployed youth. Every week Mr. Ramkrishna Mistry, the trainer conducts classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
On the opening day, Mukti provided the trainees with one mask, a notebook, and a pen.
The objective of the training is to impart knowledge of the basic concepts of semiconductors, their properties and their application in various fields and also to improve the employability of the rural youth.
Program Profile
After the training, the trainees will receive an expert certificate in electronics from the Government of West Bengal. In addition to electrical work in individual homes, with the help of the certificate, they will be able to apply for various vocational government projects.
