TSS Sponsor Student Virtual Meeting Between Mr. Amir Hamja and Students

On 26^th March 2022, Saturday Mukti TSS (Talented Student Sponsorship) team has organized a sponsor-student virtual meet between Mr. Amir Hamja and his sponsored students Sujit Mondal and Krishandu Mondal. This has been their first meeting through a virtual platform.

Mukti TSS program has been meant for those students who have incredible drive and a passion for learning but whose families could not afford to support their dreams. Sponsored student meetings not only give students confidence that they have someone to think about them but also create a lifelong bond between the sponsor and the student.

Mukti is thankful to Mr. Hamja for offering the students an incredible gift of sponsorship that is not only changing the lives of the sponsored students but also their families and that of the greater community.

Mr. Hamja has been associated with Mukti as a sponsor since 2019. Before that, he has been a scholarship holder in Mukti from 2015-19. He completed BE from Jadavpur University with Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering. Now he has been posted in Pune as a COC software engineer in Varroc Engineering Limited. While being a student, he decides that if he gets established in life, he will help some more helpless students to fulfill their dreams. Mr. Hamja has kept his word. Mukti respects his resolve. He is sponsoring two general category students.

Sujit Mondal stays with his parents at Paschim Jata Mayrapara village in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. He has an elder sister who gets married. His father is a farmer and his mother is a homemaker. His father farms on his own land to run the household. In spite of extreme financial difficulties, his parents work tirelessly so that his studies would not be interrupted in any way. Sujit is currently pursuing Masters in English from Dhurba Chand Halder College. He wants to do a Govt. job by cracking the WBCS examination and for this, he has started preparing himself. He is a very meritorious and determined student. It is his determination that is driving him to chase his dream despite extreme economic conditions.

Krishna Mondal stays at Uttar Debipur in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. His family consists of his parents, grandmother and elder sister. He is currently studying in 11th standard, in the arts stream from Raidighi SCK High School. His father works as a daily laborer without any fixed income. His mother is a homemaker. His elder sister provides tuition to kids to support their parents. He has been blessed with a very supportive family. His family members are doing toiling work for his education. Krishnendu wants to complete graduation in English honors.

During the meeting, Mr. Hamja motivates the students by telling them about his own struggles as a student. He advises them to learn spoken English. He assures his support throughout their journey.

The students expressed immense pleasure to meet their sponsor. They thank him for supporting them because it would be impossible for them to continue their studies without his help. They asked him to guide them as a mentor.

The meeting ends in a joyous mode.
