Anjana, a mother of three, faced economic hardship due to the pandemic. However, with her creative skills and determination, she joined the Hasthshilp program at Mukti and learned how to make Jute Sandals and Dolls. She gained expertise in doll-making and began selling her creations at fairs and markets, earning an additional income for her family. Doll-making has given hope to local women who previously had no other source of income. Anjana’s success shows that with the right training and support, women can become leaders and entrepreneurs in their communities.
