            The Success story of Rafiul Islam

Md. Rafiul Islam, alumni of Talented Student Sponsorship program under Mukti Organisation in 2020. He is an example of a very energetic, disciplined and hard worker. His story will inspire all TSS students.

Rafiul belongs to a nuclear family with his parents and siblings. He comes from Borhal Dighir Par Village at Hooghly in West Bengal. His elder sister got married while Rafiul was studying in standard XI. He has another 3 siblings who are very younger than him and they are in Junior secondary and higher secondary school. His father Sk. Md. Waliullah is a private tutor and the only earning member of the family. His mother, Saleha Begum is a housewife. It was very difficult to manage all the children’s expenses. Besides the tuition, his father was doing seasonal farming on his own land to manage all the expenses. It was like a challenge until you reach your will. Raful had potential and expressed his expertise through education. Hard work brought him a wealthy life. Let’s have a look into his pursuant life!

The young lad was in contact with Mukti from the year 2017 through the Talented Students Sponsorship Programme while he had qualified for MBBS. He passed the Madhyamik standard examination with 79% from Borhal Kamala Devi Pratisthan in the year 2010 and passed the Higher Secondary examination with 70% from Jangipara DN High School in the year 2012. He was an alumni student of Al-Ameen Mission. The total bill of his chores was carried by the School Authority. He pursued here for 1 year for the West Bengal Joint entrance examination for medical studies. He helped himself overcome all the obstacles of the family. Rafiul is steadfast in his goal. Besides his studies, he diligently took good care of his ill parents though he got admission to MBBS. We all know getting a chance in something in catastrophic danger can make us bow down. But he was a genius and had faith in him. His father was a cardiac patient and he had to treat him on a regular basis.

Under these circumstances, Rafiul was searching for a source of light on how to complete his studies and reach his fantasy. Just then he got the news of Mukti’s scholarship from one of his dearest friends. He applied for sponsorship in Mukti. After the selection procedure, he got selected for sponsorship.

After schooling, he has taken preparation from a mission for 1 year. He qualified in WBJEE and ranked 1430. Eventually, he got a chance for MBBS in Malda Medical College & Hospital. Though his family had been living in acute penury, the parents had been very desirous to educate their children.

Rafiul completed his schooling in his local School. He focused on his study and family as well. During this time his parents were very happy to get the message of selection in Mukti. They got relief from being stressed. Rafiul was selected by Mr. Asim Das from Mukti Australia. Mr. Das was sponsoring him till the course was completed. He had sponsored Rafiul for 4 years. With the benevolent support of donors, he successfully completed MBBS final year in the year 2020.

Currently, he is doing Housestaffship from his institution for 1 year. His future plan is to be a cardiologist and help poor people. The student expressed his feelings about Mukti and his respective donor. As his promise, Rafiul will return back in Mukti as a sponsor and will sponsor students. He wishes to help the students thereby providing free coaching support. We wish him all the best for his future and also wish that he accomplishes his dreams successfully. Mukti will always remain at his side and support and motivate him through all possible means.
