Mukti SAM (Sustainable Agricultural Movement) farmers have been able to successfully produce exotic vegetables. Mukti started cultivating exotic vegetables on an experimental basis with 15 farmers of SAM from Nagendrapur and Kankandighi GP on its own initiative in December to increase its production as well as the income of the farmers.
Mukti distributed 20 varieties of exotic vegetable seeds like Broccoli, Cherry Tomato, Capsicum, Lettuce, Sweet Corn, Artichoke, Zucchini, Pak-Choy, Kakdi, Squash, Turnip etc to these farmers and also provided training on how to cultivate them following organic method.
