Lakhs of people were rendered homeless as Cyclone AMPHAN cut a path of destruction through half-a-dozen districts of West Bengal on Wednesday, 20th May, 2020, flattening houses, uprooting thousands of trees and swamping low-lying areas. Being a low-lying area of West Bengal, Sunderban is nearly perished by AMPHAN. Main crisis is for food, drinking water and shelter.

Mukti relief camps have come up in Sunderban, where helpless people have queued up for meal and shelter after their homes being either blown or washed away. To help these villagers, Mukti organized lot of relief programs all across Sunderban. One of such relief program was conducted at Uttar Bhubaneswari village under Kakdwip Block. 30 families were provided Rice, Daal, Potato, Soap, Puffed rice, Onions, ORS, Napkins and Biscuits.
