The populous Indian state of West Bengal took the brunt of Cyclone AMPHAN, which barreled out of the Bay of Bengal with gusting winds of up to 185 km/h and a storm surge of around five meters. The eye of the storm passed through the Sunderbans, one of the largest mangrove forests in the world, resulting ferocious damage to each and everything that came in its path. AMPHAN left the people without home, food and hope.
Mukti organized lot of relief programs all across Sunderban. One of such relief program was conducted at Bhubaneswari Naskorergheri village under Kakdwip Block. 85 families were provided Rice, Daal, Potato, Soap, Puffed rice, Onions, ORS, Napkins and Biscuits.

Amphan may have caused the damage to life and property but it could not damage Mukti’s spirit to stand by society during hard times.
