Mukti TSS Team Conducted Sponsor Student Virtual Meet Between Mr. Abhijit Parkhe and His Sponsored Students

Mukti TSS team organised a virtual sponsor-student meet on 13^th February, Saturday, 2021. The meeting was between Mr. Abhijit Parkhe, his wife Umme Zakira and their four sponsored students Mousumi Ash, Soheli Sultana, Sritama Bhowmik and Sauvik Mondal. Through this virtual meeting they met to each other for the very first time.

Mukti TSS is grateful to Mr. Abhijit Parkhe for supporting these students not only financially but also inspiring them all the time to be constant in their aims.

Mr. Abhijit Parkhe is associated with Mukti TSS project since 2017-18.

Mousumi Ash is currently pursuing M A 1st year with History from Midnapore College. In 2017 Mousumi passed the Higher Secondary Examination with a bright result. Since then she has been supported by Mr.Parkhe. She dreams to be a Professor and help the poor students. To make her dreams come real, Mr. Parkhe has assured to stand by her side and with his help she is gradually moving to achieve her aim.

Soheli Sultana is pursuing B.Sc Nursing 3rd year in College of Nursing N.R.S. Medical College & Hospital. She wants to be a nurse and take care of the poor patients. Her parents supported her big dream but didn’t know how to get it fulfilled as it was impossible for them to afford her higher studies. At that time of turmoil, she applied to Mukti TSS and Mr. Abhijit Parkheand his wife had selected her as his sponsored student.

Sritama Bhowmick is a student of class XI in Arts Stream of Dakshin Kashinagar High School. She had scored high marks in her Madhyamik Examination and applied to Mukti TSS for sponsorship. Her parents work for Mukti. Her mother is a MCDF member. She is fighting poverty from her childhood. Her parents want her to become self reliant in her life. She dreams a little different. She wants to be a musician and her parents support her full heartedly. She also wants to complete her studies. To fulfill her dreams she needs financial support. Through Mukti TSS sponsorship program she got Mrand Mrs.. Parkhe as her sponsor and is continuing her studies.

Sauvik Mondal is a student of class XI in Science stream from Beliatore High School. He scored brilliant marks in the Madhyamik Examination in the year 2020 and the severe financial crisis forced him to apply to Mukti TSS to get a sponsor. He aims to be an Engineer and wants to help his family to live a prosperous life. He is preparing himself for JEE Examination. His determination inspired Mr. and Mrs.Parkhe which made him to choose Sauvik as his sponsored student.

The meeting went successful with the cordial participation of the sponsor and the students. Students shared their goals of life and discussed about their career planning in detail. They asked for the valuable suggestions regarding their career of their sponsor Mr. Parkhe. Mr. Parkhe showed them the guideline. He encouraged all his students not to give up hope in any adverse situation and to stay focused in their goal. He assured all his help throughout their career also assured that they can e-mail him anytime they want.

After meeting each other both the sponsor and the students expressed their happiness and said they want to meet again.
