Mukti TSS Members Second Time Organized New Sponsor- Student Virtual Meet of the Year 2020

2020 has been a tough year, especially for the less privileged communities. Our future generation, the students have suffered a lot. Schools have been shut down for a long period of time. They are far away from their friends, schools. In this crucial time Mukti TSS team members arranged virtual sponsor-student meet to uplift the self-confident of the students.

Like many other meetings on 18th December 2020, Friday, Mukti TSS team members organised a sponsor-student meet through Google Meet. The meeting was between the sponsor Mr. Niladri Nath Bagchi, his wife Mrs. Gitanjali Bagchi and the students Afreen Sultana, Payel Mondal, Supriya Purkait , Sunanda Adhikary, Laboni Das and Arundhuti Maity.

 

Mukti TSS is thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Bagchi whose generous support is helping a number of students to get educated and empower. 6 out of his 7 sponsored students attended the meeting.

Mr. Niladri Nath Bagchi is associated with Mukti TSS Program since 2016 and helping the needy but talented students since then. At present he is supporting 7 female students of Mukti TSS.

 

 

Afreen Sultana is pursuing B. Sc. in Zoology from Lady Brabourne College. She is a final year student. Life was one long struggle for her. With poor economic support she hardly could continue her studies. Her decisions determined her destiny. The support of Mr. Niladri Bagchi encouraged her to complete her Masters.

After completing class 11, Payel Mondal with no financial support from anywhere, found it difficult to continue her studies Just when all hopes were seemed to recede, Mukti TSS stand by her side. She applied to Mukti TSS and was selected as one of the sponsored students.  At present she is the student of B.Sc.2nd year with Zoology (H).

Supriya Purkait is pursuing B.Sc.2nd year with Zoology (H) from Charuchandra College. Last year she was selected as sponsored student by Mukti TSS. Supriya knows what it is to be poor. But study was her priority and she excelled in it. She wants to give a descent life to her parents and knows very well that in doing so she need to educate herself. She wants to be a social worker and to help the poor.

Being a student of B.Sc.2nd year with Zoology (H), Sunanda Adhikary is continuing her studies from Charuchandra College. She has shown us that with the right opportunity and support, anyone can achieve his/her dream. She is continuing her studies despite all odds of life.

Laboni Das is a 1^st year student of B.Sc. Nursing.  She is also a fighter. Despite her economically weak background she is determined to get educated. Her dream is to become a nurse and serve the poor and needy. Mukti TSS wishes her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.

Arundhuti Maity is a student of class –XI of Science stream. On the year 2020 she has been selected by Mukti TSS. This is the aphorism that young Arundhuti Maity, who after braving formidable odds, is successfully resuming her studies. She is ambitious even at this age and wants to be a doctor.

The meeting went successful. Mr. Niladri Nath Bagchi wanted to know from the students about their studies, family background and future plans. He encouraged the students to help the poor and to serve the society after the achievements of their dreams. He also encouraged them to engage themselves on social work of 100 hours that Mukti launched for them. He called the students to took an initiative to transform the society a better place to line in.

Both Mr. Niladri Nath Bagchi and his sponsored students expressed their happiness after the meeting. His inspirable words made the students more confident to go on the paths of their achievements. He assured his full hearted support to the students.
