Mukti Started the Handcraft Training Campaign

A new training session for making jute bags, candles, stitching, soft toys, food processing etc. is going to start at Mukti Jatragachi center at the end of April or from the beginning of May 2022. The training will be provided in total free of cost. The object of the campaign is to encourage women to become self-reliant and also to enroll themselves as trainees in the Jatragachi training center. After the training certificate will be provided to the successful trainees and Mukti will help them to get an artisan card from the handicraft department of the West Bengal Government.

The announcement program has been started from 14th April 2022. Mukti has rented a van through which promulgation and leaflets are being distributed two days a week (9 am- 12 pm) covering the areas of New Town, Jatragachi and Ghani. On the first day 100 leaflets have been distributed. The campaign will continue for the coming 7-8 days.
