Mukti provided Tarpaulin to People Whose Houses are Damaged by Cyclone Yaas

Roofs, mud walls of the most houses in Sundarban have been damaged by the severe cyclone Yaas and therefore Mukti has extended tarpaulin sheets to protect the houses from rain or further damage.

People after losing their houses are living beside road. They don’t even have any piece of covering on their head. They are in need of shelter. On the other hand most of the roofs of the houses of Sundarban are made up with hay. Strong wind, uprooted trees and heavy rain destroyed most of them. They also need support to cover their belongings as well as cattle from rain as Monsoon is approaching soon.

Realizing the immediate need Mukti volunteers rushed to the areas with tarpaulin where the damages are more severe. One piece of 15’/12’ tarpaulin is distributed to each vulnerable. They thanked Mukti for providing them tarpaulin sheets.
