Mukti Planned to Plant 30,000-45,000 Mangrove saplings at Bhubaneswari

With the Aim of planting 30,000-45,000 Mangrove saplings Mukti started planting high quality Mangrove saplings at Bhubaneswari Island. To save the humans as well as nature “AID”, our respected supportive partner, helped Mukti to plant Mangrove all through the Sunderban.

Bhubaneswari is located under Kultali Block and is surrounded by rivers. Like many other places of Sunderban, cyclone AMPHAN had also left its scratches all through the village. The damages need immediate restoration.

6 types of good quality Mangrove saplings – Sundori, Goran, Dhundhul, Golpata, Algach, Kankra and Bakra were planted.

15 MCDF members had started the plantation program from 26^th January. They are working under the “Food for work” project.
