Mukti Organized a Meeting with the Villagers of Purba Sridharpur

On 8^th February 2022, Tuesday Mukti has organized a meeting with the villagers of Mukti Gram, Purba Sridharpur. The meeting has been organized to provide details about the activities of Mukti to the villagers and to reassure them. The meeting starts at 2 pm and continues till 5 pm. 43 villagers with Mukti working committee members, model village staffs and SAM (Sustainable Agricultural Movement) staffs have attended the meeting.

Mukti has noticed that due to some misconceptions some people of Mukti Gram are destroying some of the projects of Mukti. Through this meeting, Mukti has made the effort to find out their problem and to dispel their misconceptions.

The topics of discussion are three-

1) Concept of Mukti – They have been told that Mukti is a non-profit, non-governmental, socio-economic development organization. The ideal of Mukti is apolitical but not against politics. Mukti with help from other organizations works for the needy and helpless. Irrespective of all races, religions, languages, genders, ages Mukti works for the welfare of society. Humans are the only truth to Mukti.

2) Projects of Mukti – Mukti staffs brief them on various projects of Mukti along with they also explain how these projects can help them. The projects of Mukti are intended for the development of Mukti Gram and the residents. Involving oneself in these income-generating projects can help them for their livelihood. Hence, it is the duty of all to protect and preserve these project sights.

3) Area for sports complex – Mukti is trying to create a sports complex for the rural emerging players. Mukti has selected a vast field near Purba Sridharpur Gangar Ghat to build the complex. This field initially will be used for the VOICE project women’s football team. Some of the villagers showed their objections to making the complex. Mukti staffs make them understand that irrespective of gender why sports are important for the up growing children. Maybe one day some renowned players will emerge from these children of the village. After a long discussion, they agreed to build the sports complex.

Mukti is hopeful that the villagers will appreciate the efforts of Mukti and will be interested in discussing with Mukti if there is any problem in the future.
