Mukti volunteers have been driving around Sundarban during these days to help those out in need. They have been distributing food and ration to those who are struggling for survival during the ongoing corona virus pandemic and the aftermath of severe cyclone Yaas.
To help the flood affected people Mukti sprang on and at an immediate response initiated relief programs all over Sundarban.
With a humanitarian support Mukti volunteers organized a dry ration distribution program for the 400 families of Baradanagar under Nagendrapur Gram Panchayat. Keeping all the Covid protocols in place Mukti volunteers had arranged dry ration for 100 people at a time. Beneficiaries collected their packets on their own. The dry ration kit contained rice, lentils, potato and soybean.
The social worker and vice chairman of local Panchayat, Mr. Jayprasun Bhandari, Panchayat chief along with the Mukti volunteers were present at the distribution program. Mr. Jayprasun Bhandari appreciated the endeavor of Mukti and thanked for standing beside the flood affected villagers.
