On 21st February 2022, Monday Mukti has organized a special coaching program at Nagendrapur Flood Center beside Hemonta Kumari High School for the 2021-22 Madhyamik students of Mukti Support School (MSS). Teachers of Dumdum K. K. Hindu Academy have taken the classes. The class starts at 8 am and continued till 4:30 pm. 215 students including 150 girls and 65 boys have attended the program.
The schools have been closed for a long time due to the pandemic. The poor students have been impacted deeply. Unusual circumstances have increased the number of school dropouts as well as diverted students’ attention from their studies. In such a situation, their board exam is knocking at the door. The objective of organizing the program is to prepare the students for the Board exams and boost their morale.
The teachers provide guidance and training on the Board syllabus. Teachers explain the techniques and tips of Board norms so that the students can excel in their Board Examinations. Eminent and renowned subject specialist faculty members – Mr. Debashis Pandey (English), Mr. Subhadeep Chatterjee (Physics and Maths), Mr. Debanshu Bhattacharya (Geography), Mr. Prabir Banerjee (History), Mr. Joybir Chakraborty (Biology) guide the students as per the syllabus.
The whole program has been conducted under the supervision of Mr. Madhusuhan Bairagi – program manager of Mukti. In his short speech, he inspires the students, advice them to work hard and wishes them good luck for their upcoming examination
Feedback of individual students has been taken by Mukti after the coaching class. The students have shown their satisfaction after attending the coaching program. Besides teaching, the teachers have interacted with them; answer the questions asked by the students, rectify their errors and clear their doubts. For weaker students, the teachers do discuss their problems and help them to recover from their problem areas.
The teachers also share their experiences while teaching the students. They have been inspired to see more female candidates than male candidates. Students very attentively have attended the program; students answered their questions very well. They are overwhelmed to see so many poor students have been encouraged by Mukti to sit for the Board exam. They feel blessed to be able to do social work with liberation.
Mukti thanks the teachers for spending their precious time in preparing the distressed students to sit for their Board exam. The students have benefited a lot from their efforts.
