Mukti Conducts Meeting on Budget Discussion of Housing Project

Mukti has held a meeting on the housing project on 19^th April 2022 at Mukti Library with the willing beneficiaries of Mukti Gram, Purba Sridharpur. 8-9 beneficiaries of Mukti Gram have attended the meeting. The meeting has been called to discuss the budget of the model house.

On behalf of Mukti Mr. Harisadhan Mondal – project coordinator of Mukti Gram, Mr. Gaurisankar Mondal –project coordinator of model house, Mr. Manoj Kar – supervisor of the housing project, Mr. Chittoranjan Halder and Mr. Subarna Kar – working committee guest members have interacted with the beneficiaries.

Consumers are told that according to the new rules, consumers who are building their houses in imitation of model houses will have to complete the construction of their houses i.e. finish plastering, painting, installing doors and windows only then only Mukti will support them with Rs 50,000.

For those who just want to make their second floor, the average cost will be Rs 90,000 whereas Mukti will help them with Rs 50,000. The beneficiaries either have to pay for sand, cement, paint or pay the mechanics. For those who want to make their entire house in imitation of model houses, the cost will be around Rs 2 lakh whereas Mukti will help them with Rs 1,20,000. They also will have to pay the rest in the same way.

Some of the beneficiaries have agreed with Mukti and some of them have asked for some time to think.
