Under the 30% model, Mukti Book Bank has distributed books to 56 underprivileged Higher Secondary students for the session 2022-23. Mukti in association with “Asha for Education” has provided 148 books to the students of Damkal, Purba Sridharpur, Kankandighi, Raidighi, Krishna Chandrapur, Nagendrapur and Kuyamuri. The Book distribution drive continued from 11th June to 15th July 2022.
Mukti is thankful to “Asha for Education” for helping underprivileged students with books.
The 30% model has been designed for the students who come to buy books directly from Mukti Book Bank. Mukti takes 30% of the total value (print value) of those books from the student as a security deposit. The following year, if the students return those books intact and in equal numbers, they are reimbursed 50% of the deposit amount. Mukti has introduced this model to make the students careful and responsible towards the book. Mukti remissions the refundable amount if the books get damaged by any natural disaster or an accidental cause.
Students after receiving the books thanked Mukti for supporting their education.
