Topics discussed in the meeting:
- Increase the number of students: At present, there are 10-12 students in each of the 10 Kishalaya Schools of Purba Sridharpur. Teachers had been instructed to motivate more children to come to join the school. They need to make the Parents understand the importance of education so that parents send their children to school on their own initiative. The number of students in the school must be 20 or more.
- Sitting arrangement: Young children are having difficulty sitting while taking classes. So small benches will be arranged for them. In the Covid situation, teachers were instructed to maintain distance between the students and follow Covid protocol.
- Skill development training: At present, there are 10 teachers in 10 Kishalaya Schools. Mukti wants to add 10 more teachers for 10 more new schools. Mukti planned to conduct a skill development training session with all of the 20 teachers of Kishalaya School. The training will be scheduled from 15th – 20th December 2021.
- The problem of the teachers: Mukti instructs the teachers to discuss among themselves and inform Mukti about their difficulties and needs within 1-2 weeks so that Mukti could resolve them as soon as possible. This was instructed as not everyone was able to attend the meeting. Mukti believes that the role of the teachers is paramount in the development of students and the school.
The teachers thanked Mukti for listening to their plight and taking action accordingly. They felt the importance of the meeting. They had requested Mukti to organize such meetings on a regular basis in the future.
