Karthik De inspiring co-farmers to adopt organic farming

Karthik De is the sole bread earner of the 7-member family. In 2009, when the disastrous cyclone Aaila washed away with its salt water the fertile top soil of his farming land, completely destroying the crops, he came in contact with MUKTI. Being unable to grow crops, completely devastated by the life-threatening effect of the cyclone, he learned about organic farming. He implemented organic farming for growing crops.
Currently he is a successful farmer and is able to grow crops to feed his family. He is an inspiration for his co-farmer friends, who is able to lead by example to the bright future of organic farming.
