Integrated Development Meeting With Nagendrapur GP Members

Mukti organized an integrated development meeting with Panchayat members of Nagendrapur GP at the GP office of Nagendrapur on 19th October 2022. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the social development activities of Mukti and for seeking the cooperation and support of the authorities. The purpose of the meeting was to create sustainable public relations with the Panchayat.

18-19 people including Panchayat members and Mukti staff attended the meeting. On behalf of the Panchayat Chief Mrs. Arjina Biwi her husband Mr. Maijul Gazi and Deputy Chief Mr. Dilip Halder along with other 10 members were present in the meeting. From Mukti’s side, the Integrated Development team and Mukti Working Committee members participated in the discussion.

Till now, Mukti was working on integrated development (like Vetiver grass, Coconut, Dragon fruit plantation etc) locally only within Purba Sridharpur village under Nagendrapur GP. Now Mukti had decided to expand the project to other villages of Nagendrapur GP. The initiative requires the approval and help of the Gram Panchayat. Mukti explained the integrated development project in detail to the Gram Panchayat representatives and acquainted them with the objectives of Mukti. Mukti requested their cooperation and support so that Mukti can carry forward the development activities properly and without any impediments.

The meeting was successful as the Chief and other GP members had agreed to Mukti’s proposal and assured their cooperation.

Mukti will organize such meetings every one or two months to keep the members of Nagendrapur GP informed about the progress of the project and to discuss the possible difficulties during the project.
