Many of the chickens that Mukti distributed to MCDF members last year died of some certain disease. Most of the chicks were bought from outside. So, this year Mukti has decided to hatch the chicks in the incubator machine that Mukti has installed in Mukti Gram. The chicks that Mukti breed through the Incubator machine is being distributed to the MCDF members of the Purba Sridharpur branch. Especially to those whose chicks died due to the disease.
As empowerment of women is the key issue in protecting women’s interests, the rural women folk are provided with Kuroiler chicks, inputs and capacity building to strengthen their livelihood and economic improvement.
Out of the 300 eggs that Mukti has kept in the incubator machine, 110 eggs are hatched. These eggs are distributed to 11 MCDF members of the Purba Sridharpur branch at the rate of 10 pieces per woman.
In the first part, the distribution program is held on 23rd November 2021, Tuesday and in the next parts more chicks will be distributed. Mukti has placed 220 eggs in an incubator machine for the next distribution. After 22 days, the eggs will be hatched, and then it will be redistributed.
