Floral Pathways: Mukti’s World Environment Day Initiative for the Organic Village

Mukti has undertaken a commendable initiative to transform Paschim Jota Kansari Para into a thriving organic village. As per the plan, all the farmers residing in this village will transition to organic farming practices, promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness. Additionally, an integrated farming system will be introduced to enhance the village’s agricultural productivity and ecological balance.

In a significant step towards realizing this vision, the beautification process of the organic village commenced on the momentous occasion of World Environment Day, observed on the 5th of June 2023. To adorn the village and create a picturesque landscape, a grand endeavor was initiated to plant flower trees along both sides of the main 7-kilometer road.

A dedicated team of 72 individuals, consisting of Mukti’s organic farmers, members of the MCDF, members of the Kankandighi Working Committee and enthusiastic villagers, collaborated harmoniously to bring this initiative to life. Together, they planted 750 vibrant flower saplings along a 300-meter stretch of the road. This initial effort serves as a promising start towards the larger objective of transforming Paschim Jota Kansari Para into a blossoming organic village.

With unwavering determination, the initiative will persist, ensuring the continued pursuit of its goals. As more flowers bloom, the organic village will not only radiate natural beauty but also stand as a testament to the community’s commitment to sustainable practices and a greener future.
