“Daan Utsob”: Small Gestures of Kindness Lead to a Profound Impact
For the last two years, Mukti is organizing the “philanthropic festival” name “Daan Utsob” on the occasion of “Sankalpa Diwas”. Like the previous years, this year too hundreds of people came forward to help those people who are in real need and to make a big difference in their lives by performing small acts of kindness.
50 derived people including widows were supported with winter clothes and sarees, 3 Youth Committee and 13 clubs of Purba Sridharpur were provided football, 40-50 underprivileged students were provided copies and pens, 5-6 team members of Go Green were provided bags (50 jute bags for females and 70 jeans bags for males), one diary and one pen to 120 Mukti village office staffs.
Despite these contributions numerous villagers of Purba Sridharpur exchange gifts with their peers from various socioeconomic backgrounds.
