Chick Rearing Training Program Supported by “Coal India”
Mukti, in association with “Coal India”, had organized chick-rearing training sessions for the marginalized SHGs of Egra Block associated with Mukti. The training was conducted on the 16th and 17th of January, 2023. 80 trainees under the supervision of a government-trained trainer received training on layer and broiler chick rearing.
The training programs are designed to impart basic poultry farming techniques, poultry management skills, vaccination, processing and marketing for both layer and broiler bird commercial rearing. The program aims to empower underprivileged rural women economically and socially and to address the issues of food insecurity and malnutrition.
