After the pandemic, the most crucial problem that has emerged is unemployment. Educated youths have lost jobs or are failing to get one. They are suffering from insecurity, they are afraid of their uncertain future. Out of this fear they are engaging themselves to do the crime. We have to generate livelihood for all these young people. Otherwise, they will be misled by corruption. To address this challenge Mr. Halder suggested that Mukti is trying to overcome this crisis by creating job opportunities through the various Mukti projects (Mukti Support School, Mukti Fresh, Mukti Green, Mukti Cloud Kitchen etc). With this Mukti is also providing skill development training, vocational training through which unemployed youth can get a job.
Another significant work that Mukti doing is for women’s empowerment. At present Mukti is having 30,000 MCDF (Mukti Community Development Fund) members. Mukti is providing them skill development training on handicrafts, food processing, sewing etc. At the end of the training, they are making things by forming their own group and earning a livelihood from selling those things. MCDF members have been engaged in different projects of Mukti. They are working under “Food for Work” and are receiving a monthly remuneration from Mukti. In addition to being self-reliant, these women are working for the development of society too. They organize awareness programs and participate actively to stop child marriage, the dowry system, trafficking, Illiteracy, menstruation and pregnancy health etc.
For the students, Mukti has built Kishalaya schools (class 1-4), Mukti support schools (class 5-10) and Mukti Information Technology. Talented yet underprivileged students are receiving sponsorship through TSS (Talented Student Sponsorship) program (class 11, 12 and professional courses). Mukti has engaged and promoted the talent of unemployed youth as teachers in the schools.
Mukti encourages and invocates the enthusiasts and activates who have been present in the meeting to build Mukti Support Schools, create MCDF to address the problem of unemployment. Mukti has appealed to the influential person to short out the safe drinking water crisis, make roads for comfortable transportation, electricity to every household etc.
