Involving urban school children in the process of helping their underprivileged counterparts can lead to some truly amazing experiences. Mukti in association with 2 student-led non-profit NGOs “AquaTerra” and “Katran Foundation” has taken the initiative is helping drive such instances of social responsibility and development.
On 13th March 2022, Sunday, 8 seventeen-year-old school students from “AquaTerra” and “Kartan Foundation” have visited 4 Kishalaya Schools of Purba Sridharpur to distribute some snacks and clothes to 73 kids of Kishalaya School. They have distributed chips, chocolate, Cadbury and new clothes (frock for girls, T-shirt for boys). On behalf of Mukti Mr. Madhusudhan Bairagi – program manager, Mr. Rajat Mondal, Mr. Bimal Khan – project coordinator of MSS (Mukti Support School) and Mrs. Supriya Mondal – Kishalaya School Supervisor have welcomed and assisted them throughout their visit. They have been with the kids from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Mukti is thankful to “AquaTerra” and “Katran Foundation” for supporting the kids and putting a smile on their faces.

The little ones of Kishalaya School express their excitement and happiness after receiving the gifts. The sense of wonder and awe in their eyes is a joy to watch. The kids have shown how the smallest thing can be treated with utmost care.
The students of the organizations said that they are in fact debited and grateful to both the children and Mukti for providing them with such a great opportunity and bringing in their faces such bright smiles and lives such cherishable memories.
