Mukti TSS Sponsor Student Meeting between Mr. Avirup Banerjee and Rakhiaj Molla

With the ongoing support of sponsors, disadvantaged yet brilliant students of the Mukti TSS (Talented Student Sponsorship) project are able to look towards a future that is full of possibilities. All these needy students need their sponsors to make these possibilities a reality. The motivation of the sponsors and the assurance of being by their side strengthen the willpower of the students and that’s how a long-term sponsorship transforms lives.

In such a turbulent time of Covid-19 when physical meetings are restricted Mukti TSS team to uplift, the confidence level of the students has organized sponsor-student virtual meet. One such meeting is held on 1^st February 2022 Tuesday between Mr. Avirup Banerjee and his sponsored student Rakhiaj Molla.

Mukti would like to thank Mr. Banerjee for being so generous and sponsoring the education of Rakhiaj. It truly means a lot to him as well as Mukti.

Mr. Avirup is associated with Mukti since 2018-19. Mr. Banerjee is working as a Technical Manager for a leading Retail Company. He is a follower of Swami Vivekananda and inspired by his ideals he always feels happy to serve humanity. He loves football. He has been sponsoring Rakhiaj Molla for the last 2 years. This is their second time meeting with each other.

Rakhiaj is presently pursuing class XII in the Science stream from Krishnachandrapur High School. He stays with his parents at Krishnachandrapur village in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.

Rakhiaj belongs to a farmer family. He has witnessed it through his father how difficult it is to be a farmer. The difficulty is even compounded by the frequent flooding. Life is somehow getting along for him until his secondary school. By the time he reached higher secondary, their financial difficulty sets in, no matter how hardworking his father and mother are, the earning from their piece of land is not enough to send him to secondary school. They dream of sending him to college no matter how hard it will take for them. They instilled in him that he will finish college and get a better job. To be a farmer is not an option for them, they took the liberty of deciding that and imposed college education as the only option.

Rakhiaj is a meritorious and hard-working student. He is preparing himself by heart and soul for his upcoming Higher Secondary Examination which will be held on 2^nd April 2022. He is an aspirant of MBBS. Besides his studies, he is preparing for the NEET examination too on his own.

After scoring an eye shinning marks in the Madhyamik Examination he wanted to learn more. An unquenchable interest in learning encouraged him to apply to Mukti TSS for sponsorship. His luck was favorable when Mr. Avirup selected him as one of his sponsored students.

During the meeting, both of them Mr. Banerjee and Rakhiaj have shared their individual experiences.  Mr. Banerjee encouraged Rakhiaj by sharing his own days of struggle as a student. He showed him different ways to overcome the challenges. He has been interested to know whether Rakhiaj is engaged in any extracurricular activities. Mr. Banerjee advised Rakhiaj besides studying, to work for the needy and become a better human being. He assured his support and wishes him good luck for his bright future.

Rakhiaj thanked his sponsor for his support and guidance. He reassures Mr. Banerjee that he will never give up and will continue his studies whatever may be the situation. Rakhiaj requested Mr. Banerjee to be his side as mentor till he achieves his goal.

They liked talking to each other very much. Their happy faces are expressing their emotions. The meeting ended with a promise to meet again.
