Cyclone Amphan, one of the most powerful storms to hit the Bay of Bengal in decades, is bearing down on a region already battling to contain COVID-19, threatening efforts to curb the virus and potentially destroying the lives and homes of millions of children and their families.
To facilitate the adults in the family to pick up again, it is important that the children are well taken care of. Realizing this fact, Mukti provides humanitarian assistance during and after disaster occurrences to support and rehabilitate the affected children and their parents. Emergency supplies, including nutritious food, water and hygiene kits, are propositioned and ready for distribution.

Mukti started to distribute care kit for children at two Gram Panchayats –
6 children from Adibasi para, 2 from Prodhan para, 3 from Santra para, 3 from Purba Sridharpur, 3 from Khatua para, 10 from Paschim para, 4 from Swasti Nagar, 15 from Baroda Nagar and 6 from Purakait para get benefitted from Mukti.
52 children were provided care kit. This care kit consists of Cerelac, ORS, Horlicks, Cake and one dress.
