On January 31 and February 1, 2008 MUKTI organized a special academic training camp at Jota Jogendrapur and Nagendrapur Hemant Kumari High School of Sunderban delta for all the prospective Madhyamik students. 350 students (160 girls and 190 boys) from Jota Nagendrapur, Nagendrapur Hemant Kumari and Kankan Dighi High school of Nagendrapur gram panchayet of Jota delta and from Babujan Sipahi School, Jota Jogendrapur High School, IIMC Panchanan Shiksha Niketan of Kankan Dighi gram panchayet and also from several other schools in the region attended this camp. Respected teachers of Dumdum K. K. Hindu Academy volunteered their participation in this camp and gracefully extended their expertise.
Mr. Tapan Naskar, Head Master of Jogendrapur High School inaugurated the camp with his inspiring speech. Presidential awardee and retired teacher of Dumdum K. K. Hindu Academy, Mr. Diptiman Dutta greeted the inaugural speech and lauded with high appreciation the efforts of MUKTI, especially Sankar Halder and Manas Chakrabarty, to initiate such a camp.

In the camp, Mr. Manas Chakrabarty, Mr. Basab Ranjan Chakrabarty, Mr. Debashis Pande, Mr. Poritosh Koyal, Mr. Prabir Banerjee and Mr. Dipu Bishwas extended their expertise in Mathematics, Physics, English, Bengali, History and Geography respectively. They enlightened the students with the approaches of scoring good marks, answering unknown questions and dealing with the examination pattern of different subjects. In an effort to make the camp more attractive, MUKTI arranged a mid-day meal along with a gift comprising a notebook and pen for all the students.
The camp was officially closed on the evening of February 1 2008. Teacher-in charge of Nagendrapur Hemant Kumari High school, Mr. Nimai Naiya, Mr. Prabir Banerjee, 16 teachers of MUKTI’s free coaching centre, coordinators of MUKTI, Mr. Raghunath Boiragi and Mr. Judhisthir Halder, honorable board member of Mukti Mr. Bijaykrishna Halder, other members of MUKTI and parents and guardians of the participated students graced the closing ceremony with their presence. In a speech during the ceremony, Mr. Naiya mentioned about the effectiveness of this type of camp and recollected the success of the previous camps before the students. In a closing speech, Mr. Prabir Banerjee pledged to remain attached with such type of camps by MUKTI in future. Secretary of MUKTI, Mr. Madhusudan Bairagi encouraged the participating students through his inspiring speech. All the respected attendants conveyed their blessings to the students and wished them for their success. Besides, the students reciprocated this affection blissfully by taking an oath to live up to the expectation of all the respected teachers and elders and emerge with excellence. The students ended the ceremony with a grand farewell to all the teachers.
