Triumphing Over Adversity: Tukai’s Journey to Educational Success

In the humble village of Raidighi, located in the district of South 24 Parganas, resides Tukai Chakraborty alongside his mother and grandparents. Growing up, he was fortunate to receive abundant love and support from his close-knit family. However, tragedy struck when Tukai lost his beloved grandparents, causing his family to fracture. With his mother being a homemaker, their financial situation became dire, making it increasingly challenging to make ends meet. At the time, Tukai was in 10th grade, and he realized the importance of finding scholarship programs that could help him continue his studies.

Determined to pursue his education, Tukai diligently searched for opportunities and discovered Mukti’s TSS (Talented Student Sponsorship) program. Without hesitation, he applied for the program, hoping it would provide the means to further his studies. Through the rigorous TSS interview process, Tukai successfully qualified for sponsorship and received the necessary funds during his Higher Secondary Education. His scholarship support came from a generous patron named Sauvik Chakraborty. This financial aid alleviated the burden of education fees and book expenses during his last two years of school.

Upon completing his secondary education, Tukai nurtured a dream to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. He applied to various colleges and was overjoyed when he secured admission to BSc Nursing at The Capitol School and College of Nursing in Bangalore. However, the challenges seemed insurmountable as he faced the constraints of limited income and the need to relocate to a new city, bearing transportation, food, and accommodation costs. Thankfully, Mukti once again stepped in, providing assistance to cover Tukai’s education fees and living expenses throughout his college years in Bangalore. Deeply grateful, Tukai acknowledges his sponsor for enabling him to continue his education and paving the way for a bright future. He holds Mukti in high regard for the exceptional support and guidance he has received.

With unwavering determination, Tukai successfully completed his bachelor’s degree and is currently serving as an intern at The Capitol School and College of Nursing in Bangalore. After finishing his internship, he plans to work as a nurse in a hospital, aiming to achieve financial stability and support his mother in running their household. Tukaiharbors aspirations for further studies, envisioning a Master’s degree in Nursing once he establishes a firm foundation.
