Arindam’s Journey: Overcoming Odds and Pursuing the Dream of Becoming a Doctor

After completing school, Arindam enrolled in Jadavpur University to study BSc. in Physics, where the tuition fee was affordable. However, his dreams of pursuing medicine persisted. Determined to find a way, he sought guidance from his professors, hoping to discover a scholarship program that could provide the financial support he needed. Alongside his efforts, Arindam also dedicated himself to preparing for the NEET examination, a crucial step toward his medical aspirations.

Fortune smiled upon Arindam that year, as two life-changing events unfolded. Firstly, one of his professors informed him about Mukti’s TSS Program, urging him to apply. Secondly, Arindam’s hard work paid off, and he qualified for NEET, securing admission to NRS Medical College. With newfound hope and excitement, Arindam reached out to Mukti, proving his eligibility for the scholarship. The Garden State Cultural Association became his sponsor and committed to providing him with the necessary funds throughout his course.

Arindam made the courageous decision to withdraw his admission from Jadavpur University, embarking on his medical journey in 2018. Throughout his course, Mukti’s financial support enabled him to cover tuition fees and living expenses, relieving the burden on his family. Arindam’s dedication and perseverance bore fruit as he progressed through his studies, eventually reaching the milestone of pursuing his internship at the medical college.

With a heart filled with gratitude, Arindam acknowledges the incredible support he received from his sponsor, which allowed him to continue his education and pave the way for a brighter future. As he sets his sights on postgraduation and dreams of becoming a surgeon, Arindam remains thankful for the opportunities that have come his way.
