Mukti celebrates the 74th Independence Day at Mukti Library ground in Nagendrapur. 70 Mukti family members – office staffs, Mukti Support School teachers, local people with children and Mukti SHG members participated in this program.
The flag hoisting ceremony started at 9 AM by blowing conch-shell and with the sound of bronze bell (Kasor). National flag was hoisted by Mr. Panchugopal Halder (honorable staff of Mukti and ex-teacher). In remembrance of our freedom fighters Mukti volunteers decorated the picture of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose with garlands and maintained one minute silence. Mr. Panchugopal Halder, Mr. Chittaranjan Halder and Mr. Goffur Molla gave speeches related to our independence.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak Mukti celebrated the day in a very limited manner and bound to cancel the cultural program, every year which was performed by the local children. But this year, despite of the Covid-19 and Amphan Mukti celebrated the day in a small scale. Mukti has planted 500 flower saplings at roadside of Purba Sridharpur and thus inaugurated the Roadside Plantation Program. The program took 2-3 hours to complete.
Mukti family members celebrated the day by maintaining all guidelines of Covid-19 implemented by Govt.
