We wanted to do a traditional wedding at a place which felt royal, elegant and homely at the same time. So, Fateh Garh, Udaipur was an easy choice for us. Once we visited the venue with our wedding planners, we knew that they will be able to lift that place up with their touch of decor and lighting.

With all sorted, both families constantly kept in touch over zoom calls to decide and agree that we will follow all the customs and traditions of both families for our wedding. So, we had Welcome Dinner, Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, and our Wedding which spanned over the course of 4 days.

Amongst the many small unique ideas implemented throughout the wedding, the one that stayed with me the most was our idea to select a balcony above the courtyard of the palace to have our Varmala. Interestingly, the balcony was never used for this purpose before. So when we now see the pictures and video of our Varmala, it feels so grand and magnificent!!
