The project \u201cSwastho Songini\u201d is a <strong>Kolkata Foundation <\/strong>initiative, developed in collaboration with Mukti and being implemented under the joint guidance of Mukti and Kolkata Foundation. Through Mukti\u2019s \u201cSwastho Songini\u201d project, CINI intends to strengthen the capacity of deprived children and women of remote villages of Sundarban to improve their health and nutrition.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-44573 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mukti-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-02-08-at-11.00.01-AM-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Three trainees of CINI interacted with ten leaders of the \u201cSwastho Songini\u201d project. In this induction meeting, CINI personnel fixed the dates of a training session and wanted to know the diseases that are of most concern to the villagers. The Swastho Songini leaders informed them that villagers mainly suffer from skin and stomach diseases.<\/p>\n<p>CINI is going to conduct a 9-day training program during 12th-20th February for Swastho Songini members at Pailan. Through the training, CINI will create health personnel who will act as adult and child community representatives of their respective areas. The health personnel will help Mukti by using available resources and identifying local solutions.
