Under the supervision of MUKTI Operations Director, the IT ProjectManager will provide leadership in the execution of the respective program. He \/ She will be accountable for program delivery aligning with MUKTI\u2019s mission. The position will follow the program framework, monitor program\/project cycles and ensure cost optimization in discussion with vendors. A key area will be to ensure fiscal discipline and control. He \/ She will lead high-level program operations, representation and coordination with internal and external engagements.<\/p>\n

The Project Manager will report to Operations Director. The positions require traveling to the project sites as and when required. These are currently in the Sundarbans and other districts of West Bengal.<\/p>\n

Key Job Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties\/vendors for the flawless execution and delivery of projects<\/li>\n
  2. Discuss with users and management to understand the requirement and write the requirement document<\/li>\n
  3. Coordinate with third-party software development vendors to make them understand the requirement<\/li>\n
  4. Assists in evaluating third-party vendors, floating project proposals and selecting the vendor to deliver the project<\/li>\n
  5. Test the delivered products as a product specialist and report defects, track the defect lifecycle<\/li>\n
  6. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget<\/li>\n
  7. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility<\/li>\n
  8. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress<\/li>\n
  9. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques<\/li>\n
  10. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques<\/li>\n
  11. Report and escalate to management as needed<\/li>\n
  12. Manage the relationship with field workers, donors and all other relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n
  13. Perform risk management to minimize project risks<\/li>\n
  14. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties\/vendors<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or Business Administration<\/li>\n
    2. Strong knowledge of project management<\/li>\n
    3. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis<\/li>\n
    4. Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills<\/li>\n
    5. PC literate, including Microsoft Office products<\/li>\n
    6. Management skills<\/li>\n
    7. Software testing skill<\/li>\n
    8. Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
    9. Preferable to have a software development skill<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience, especially managing IT projects.<\/p>\n
