He \/ She will be accountable for program delivery aligning with MUKTI\u2019s mission. The position will develop a program framework, oversee program\/project cycles and ensure value for money and result-oriented appropriate program adjustments. He \/ She will assist the Operations Director to lead high-level program operations, representation and coordination with internal and external engagements.<\/p>\n<p>The Positions require traveling to the project sites, will be supported by Project Managers and will be working closely with field staff and beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Core Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><em><strong>Strategy and Vision<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate visible leadership and adherence to MUKTI\u2019s core values, principles and strategies- root-caused-based solutions for sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the program is implemented to the highest standards that adhere to MUKTI\u2019s mission.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure sustainable programming is clearly reflected in the project\/ reaching out to the poor in Sundarbans and other districts.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure program objectives and deadlines are tracked and met.<\/li>\n<li>Support innovative ways of and approaches to sustainable development as designed and developed by volunteer experts and intelligentsias.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the performance of program teams and maximize efficiency by strengthening thematic competencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Strategic Leadership and Program Management<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic direction and overall leadership to the project team, working closely with fundraising &amp;finance teams.<\/li>\n<li>Regular performance monitoring through team meetings, updating the Operations Director on the ongoing progress<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with diverse stakeholders \u2013 especially donors, Government and development counterparts and the Board of MUKTI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Compliance, IT &amp;Fiduciary Management<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage program office, legal compliance (audit and donors\u2019 requirements) and ensure appropriate procurement, adaptive management and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee financial management, prepare budgets, manage grants contracts, monitor financial commitments and ensure integrity, transparency and zero-tolerance in grants management.<\/li>\n<li>Manage fiduciary risks by preparing financial plans, reducing inefficient resource use and adopting correct financial management and control mechanisms in MUKTI.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the implementation of IT software in consultation with software developers.<\/li>\n<li>Developing&amp; submitting financial&amp; performance reports against key parameters set for the projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Livelihood<\/strong>: Master\u2019s degree in Finance\/Accountancy\/Social Science with a management background in Microfinance operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education: <\/strong>Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Education and Training with a senior background in the field of Education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Environment: <\/strong>Master&#8217;s Degree in Bio-Tech\/Environment Science preferably working in areas of green conservation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Experience and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At least12 15 years of professional experience in the respective areas of operations, preferably in the not-for-profit sector. MUKTI is developing IT software in each of its areas of operations and prior knowledge of implementing IT projects will be preferred.<\/p>\n<p>A remuneration of around Rs 55000-60000 pm will be offered depending on qualification and experience.
