This is compounded by the lack of awareness among these populations about the measures needed to protect their health, their distance from medical facilities, the lack of all-weather roads and affordable transportation, insensitive and discriminatory behavior by staff at medical facilities, financial constraints and so on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-43328 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mukti-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG-20220531-WA0015-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mukti, to raise their health awareness and improve their accessibility to specialized primary health care has taken an initiative to organize special health check-up camps at Mukti Gram Clinic at Purba Sridharpur. \u201cKolkata Foundation\u201d is supporting Mukti for the cause. Every month 3 such camps will be organized where patients can treat themselves by specialized qualified doctors. The main focus of this initiative is to provide high-quality primary care in totally free of cost to the deprived and underprivileged communities of Sundarban.<\/p>\n<p>Mukti is grateful to \u201cKolkata Foundation\u201d for supporting underprivileged patients with specialized care.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-43329 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mukti-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG-20220531-WA0018-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As the first step of this initiative on 31<sup>st<\/sup> May 2022 Dr. Dharmaraj Haldar &#8211; MBBS doctor from Raidighi Hospital has visited Gram clinic and has treated <strong>16 patients<\/strong>. The camp has been operational from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Patients suffering from general diseases like acidity, tonsillitis, arthritis, sore throat, common cough and cold have been treated with care. Every patient has been given free medicine as per the doctor&#8217;s prescription.
