Mr. Mainak Chakraborty, the Financial Education Consultant from ICICI Foundation, Kolkata conducts the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Mukti expresses sincere thanks to Mr. Chakraborty and ICICI Foundation for contributing their valuable time to make the MCDF members financially sound.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41969 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mukti-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Online.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"903\" height=\"447\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Chakraborty, in a very simple yet interesting way, through a PowerPoint slide presentation explains what Financial Literacy is, the fundamentals of Components of Financial Literacy, the Importance of Financial Literacy, the Benefits of Financial Literacy and how to avoid fraud cases.<\/p>\n<p>He said that financial literacy is the confluence of financial, credit, and debt management knowledge that is necessary to make financially responsible decisions\u2014choices that are integral to our everyday lives. He emphasizes budgeting, understanding of interest rates, savings, credit-debit cycle trap, theft issues and safety.<\/p>\n<p>The beneficiaries find the session valuable. They thanked Mukti and Mr. Chakraborty for an excellent knowledgeable session. The information they gain will help them to avoid fraudsters in the future.
