On 6th<\/sup> August 2021 the engineer of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) <\/strong>Under the Mahatma Gandhi<\/strong> National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA)<\/strong>, Mrs.Trina Banerjee visited Mukti Gram, Purba Sridharpur under Nagendrapur GP, Mathurapur II Block of Sundarban in West Bengal. She is also the district engineer of Alipur District Council (Alipur Zilla Porishod). The meeting was scheduled in the Mukti library. The meeting started at 1:30 PM and continued till 5 PM.<\/p>\n

With Mukti project Coordinators, 10 Mukti organic farmers also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n

She came to know about the activities of Mukti in the Mukti Gram through the Mukti website. The activities of Mukti for the development of Mukti Gram inspired her. With the help of the Government, she wants to imitate the other blocks of Sundarban just like Mukti Gram (Ideal village). With our project coordinators,\u00a0 she discussed every single detail on how Mukti transform a very ordinary village-like Purba Sridharpur into a model village. Our project co-coordinators solved all her curiosity and shared with her the planning of Mukti.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, Mukti volunteers took her to visit the project sights of Mukti Gram. She was impressed after seeing the unprecedented works of Mukti and their social impact.<\/p>\n
