This project targets the menstrual health of the girls &amp; women by conducting awareness sessions and distributing hygiene kits free of cost to follow good hygiene practices.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-41188 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mukti-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-06-01-at-8.13.19-PM-1-169x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mukti thanks \u201cKolkata Gives\u201d and \u201cMotherdighi Palli Seva Sadan\u201d for supporting the flood victims especially women &amp; adolescent girls. Without your support it was very difficult for us to serve them and to provide them a dignified life.<\/p>\n<p>Menstrual hygiene management is very important during an emergency. Inappropriate menstrual hygiene management may cause infection and the stress and shame associated with menstruation can affect the mental health of girls and women negatively. It is essential to ensure the dignity of the girls and women, which help empowers them to survive difficult situations.<\/p>\n<p>Mukti\u2019s emergency intervention helped sanitary pads to be accessible to every girl and woman when they need them most.
