The workers who are engaged in repairing the river embankments, Mukti has launched \u201cFood for Work\u201d program for them. Thousands of villagers from the affected Blocks are working together to save their homes from the devastating tides.<\/p>\n

To encourage them to finish the work quickly and also to raise income and employment for the poor, Mukti initiated the program. For the last three weeks, through the program, Mukti has helped 5050 <\/strong>villagers.<\/p>\n

This week Mukti provided Rs.100 food package, containing Rice, Lentil, Wheat etc (every day) to 651<\/strong> beneficiaries of 2 Blocks.<\/p>\n

Every day the workers work for on an average of 8 hrs depending on the time of high and low tide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
