Mukti in association with the \u201cWest Bengal SC, ST and OBC Development and Finance Corporation\u201d distributed the seeds from 12<sup>th<\/sup> April to 22<sup>nd<\/sup> April 2021.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-40568 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/mukti-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-04-23-at-2.02.37-PM-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>425 farmers of 5 villages\u00a0 &#8211; Purba Sridharpur, Nagendrapur, Damkal, Dakshin Kankandighi and Daktar Gheri of Nagendrapur and Kankandighi Gram Panchayat under Mathurapur II Block, received 9 varieties seeds of Ceylon Spinach (Pui shak), Red Amaranth (Lal shak), Water Spinach (Kolmi shak), Okra (Vendi), Bottle gourd (Lau), Pumpkin (Kumro), Broad Beans (Sheem), Snake Gourd (Chichinga) and Zucchini (Dhundhul).<\/p>\n<p>Along with the seeds Mukti provided containers and fresh soil to the farmers as many of them lives beside the river boundary where due to the salinity of land none of the vegetables can be produced.<\/p>\n<p>Mukti is helping these farmers so that they can easily plough the vegetables at their kitchen garden organically.
