Thousands of trees have been either uprooted or severely damaged by Amphan which had ravaged through Sunderban on 20th<\/sup> May, 20.\u00a0Mukti in restoring the environment has started afforestation activity with the involvement of the society and the people.<\/p>\n

Mukti has created 2 lack saplings of Akashmoni, Mahogini, Sishu, Gamaru, Gayanim, Segun, and Bokul in 97 nurseries spread in 10 blocks.<\/p>\n

The saplings were distributed to 18,000 SHG members and 2,000 Mukti Support School students. They are planting these saplings at their own residential area.<\/p>\n

At present the sapling plantation program is going on at 5 branches of Mukti.<\/p>\n
