On 23th August 2020, Mukti organised a meeting with the Government SHG members at Malekan Ghumti village under Hingalgunj Block where around 210 Government SHG local members came to join the meeting. \u00a0It was the first meeting of Mukti at North 24 Parganas for the SHG members. Though they are already working under various projects of the Government still they are interested to join Mukti.\u00a0After the meeting 370 women joined as new SHG members of Mukti Hingalgunj branch.<\/p>\n

The meeting started around 1 PM and continued for 2-2 \u00bd hours. From Mukti\u2019s end Mr. Sarat Kayal, Mr. Ramesh Halder, Mr. Krishnapada\u00a0 Mondal (teacher of Dumdum Kishore Bharati school), Mr. Basanta Kumar Kayal (retired teacher) were present to conduct the meeting. Mrs. Sunita Mondal, the chairman (Karmadhyaksha), of Government Malekan Ghumti village SHG was also present in the meeting.<\/p>\n

The discussion was all about Mukti SHG. The Government SHG members expressed their curiosity about the activities of Mukti SHG on how they are working, where and on which perspective they are working, how they are getting paid and so on. \u00a0Mukti representatives responded to all their queries. They also shared their problems which Mukti representatives listened with great concentration and taken it very seriously and assured them to help.<\/p>\n

Mukti, to encourage these SHG members of Malekan Ghumti village, has planned a dry ration assistance program for them which will be distributed on 29th<\/sup> August.<\/p>\n
