Mukti planted\u00a0 300 coconut saplings in Purba Sridharpur, Model Village. Mukti bought these saplings from Amtala.<\/p>\n<p>6 women from Purba Sridharpur were distributed the saplings. Each of them received 50 saplings. They have not only planted those saplings but also will nurture them by giving fertilizer, water, salt etc. which are essential for the plants to grow, all through the year. These women will receive dry ration and a monthly allowance of Rs. 2000 under the \u201cFood for Work\u201d project of Mukti.<\/p>\n<p>Coconut tree plantation will provide wage employment and also create productive assets to check the deterioration of roads and will reduce global warming.
