Mukti incorporated this SHG to build social capital among the poor, especially women. This empowers women and gives them\u00a0greater\u00a0voice in\u00a0the society. At this hard time, when the dual attack of cyclone Amphan and Covid-19 shattered many of the lives, Mukti in association with \u201cJadavpur University Geological Association\u201d, \u201cShanghai Adda Members\u201d and \u201cGerman Consulate \u201corganized dry ration, mask and sanitary napkin distribution programs among the SHG members.<\/p>\n
