In view of\u00a0Covid-19 pandemic the state government had earlier announced that schools would remain closed till June 10.To keep the students safe from this deadly virus Govt. sent orders to keep the schools shut . Respecting the Govt. orders, Mukti Support Schools were also closed.<\/p>\n

In cities due to favorable internet connections it\u2019s much easier to teach the students through internet. \u00a0But in rural areas like Sunderban it\u2019s difficult to follow the procedure. Mukti Support Schools(MSS) \u00a0try to teach the students through mobile phone. Somehow Mukti manages to continue, but AMPHAN has changed everything.<\/p>\n

Aftermath of AMPHAN caused the mobile towers to be uprooted or dysfunctional. It forced Mukti Support School to begin their classes. Maintaining social distancing students started their classes. \u00a0But the situation is very poor.<\/p>\n

The roof top asbestos was blown by AMPHAN at Domkal MSS.\u00a0 The eastern side roof top asbestos was blown and the asbestos of the southern side was broken by AMPHAN at Jogendrapur MSS. At Purba Jota the southern part was damaged. Some of the schools also got damaged.<\/p>\n

Mukti is also providing food to 732 students and their families. Domkal MSS ,Purba Sridharpur MSS, Barodanagar MSS,under Nagendrapur Gram Panchayat, Purba Jota MSS, Jogendrapur MSS, Uttar Kankandighi MSS under \u00a0Kakndighi Gram Panchayat , Herembogopalpur MSS under patharprotima Police Station, Gilarchhat MSS is under Raidighi Police Station Sonatikari MSS under Nalgora Gram Panchayt \u2013 these are the Mukti Support Schools where the students were provided Rice, Dal,Potato, Soap, Mask, Biscuits etc.<\/p>\n
