Recently MUKTI has organized a student-sponsor meeting at Garia office where Mr. Arijit Ghosh, representative from Garden State Cultural Association (GSCA), meet the students who are being sponsored by GSCA through the MUKTI\u2019s Talented Student Sponsor (TSS) fellowship. Every year underprivileged students, who are pursuing higher studies in various disciplines, get financial aid through the TSS program from various sponsors. All the students who receive financial aid are selected through the competitive TSS fellowship program and sponsors from the country as well as abroad plays the leading role behind the success of MUKTI\u2019s TSS program.
\nMUKTI frequently arrange student-sponsor meetings between the students and their sponsors to keep a tangible track on the progress of the benefited students under the TSS fellowship program. Among the GSCA sponsored students, one of the student said, \u201cThis is a great opportunity for us to meet and say THANK YOU to our sponsors, without whose help we couldn\u2019t able to continue our higher studies.\u201d Similarly, Mr. Ghosh also commented, \u201cWithout such direct meetings with the students, it is also difficult for us to know from abroad how judiciously the funds are being used for the purpose intended. This also gives us a chance to better understand the socio-economic conditions of these students in India, their financial requirements and help us to evaluate about how we can support more talented students in the coming years.\u201d Mr. Ghosh further added, \u201cI would also like to thank all MUKTI team members, who are taking huge efforts to make TSS a big success.\u201d During the meeting, students express their own thoughts about their future goal and how such financial aids are helpful for pursuing their education.
\nWhile the students were trying to show Mr. Ghosh their overwhelming gratitude, but Mr. Ghosh seems reluctant to receive any individual recognition, rather he added, \u201cIt is important to realize that the funds are being raised by GSCA as an organization, I am just representing our team and glad to meet the students.
