Activities done in last year –
Go Green – 5 lakh+ trees have been planted, average monthly employment 116.
Poultry Framing – 1460 eggs have been hatched artificiality and distributed, 250 families are earning livelihood through poultry farming.
Beautification and Reconstruction of Roads – 5 schools have been beautified. Trees have been planted beside a 12 km road. Playgrounds have been created for the encouragement and overall development of children in sports.
Potable Water Project – 4 potable water plants have been installed and 350 families are getting benefitted from it.
Sankalpa Diwas – 1,200 + families participated in the Sankalpa Diwas program. Yoga session has been organized to increase the health awareness of the villagers.
Cyclone Tolerant Housing – 3 cyclone tolerant houses have been created, 48 houses are being constructed in the imitation of these model houses and 100 more will be done in the future.
Gram Clinic – 1,800 patients receive medical care through Gram clinic.
Kishalaya School – 14 schools have been included in this project. 14 teachers are educating 285 students in Kishalaya schools.
Mukti Support School (MSS) – 5 teachers are engaged in educating 150+ students in this center.
Organic Farming – Along with 93 old farmers, 28 more farmers have been appointed.
BMCP – 60 beneficiaries receive training on food processing – jam, jelly and sauce. The training has been provided in 7 batches of which 3 are male and 4 are female batches between the ages of 18-45. Training on Jewelry making and electrical have been provided at Upalghat and training on electrical and plumbing have been provided at Kanknadighi.
Impact Created since Inception – The Mukti Gram project has created more than 1 lakh working days, Beautiful, healthy and signature villages are being created, Awareness has been created among the villagers to build beautiful and self-reliant villages, the rate of educative people in the villages are increasing through the Mukti Education Project, through this project the standard of living of the villagers are being improved.
Future Plans – 5 lakh new saplings will be made next year. 1.5 lakh mangroves and 15 thousand coconut trees will be planted; More than 500 families will be provided employment opportunities through various projects in Mukti village, 15 km road beautification work will be done in Nagendrapur Gram Panchayat, all the projects of Mukti Gram will be self-reliant.
